The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics has a Trade Union Organization of Faculty Students. In its activities, the organization provides socio-economic assistance to faculty students and protects their interests, namely:
- provision of preferential travel in the subway;
- assistance and support for low-income students, students who are orphans, Chernobyl victims, and disabled persons, student families;
- provision of vouchers for recreation in the s.o.t. “Figurovka”, recreation centers on the Black Sea coast and in the Carpathians;
- attracting students, postgraduate students, and doctoral students for success in studies and scientific activities;
- organization and holding of sports competitions;
- issuance of international student ID ISIC;
- holding artistic and cultural-educational events (competitions, concerts, theatrical performances, faculty days, etc.);
- free legal consultations on protecting the rights and interests of trade union members;
- work on improving living conditions in dormitories;
- insurance and processing of housing subsidies;

- Statute of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine;
- Law of Ukraine “On Professional Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity”;
- Ми є структурною одиницею Профспілки працівників освіти і науки України, за юридичною формою є окремою юридичною особою.
