Good day!

Earthquakes and natural phenomena often have devastating consequences and affect our measured life, disrupting the usual daily routine.

At our Department of Applied Mathematics, in collaboration with the University of L'Aquila, two directions were active: one concerning financial mathematics, the second — computational in data science, and the logical continuation was to revive mechanics.

There are directions that will always exist, just like teaching. People are born and die, but wise teachers are always needed to teach them what and how to do things correctly, and to pass on their invaluable experience accumulated over the years.

The circulation of finance, computation, and construction are also eternal topics.

Therefore, the logical next step is the revival of our mechanics in the applied department.

The attached file contains a draft version of the agreed subjects from both countries.

Of course, the names will still change before April and May, possibly significantly, but the main thing is that this direction will start working for the enrollment of master's students in applied mathematics from September 2019, and we will have two more scholarships for our students, funded by the Italian university for their entire year of study! =)
