Competition for studies at the University of Warsaw under the Erasmus+ program

Karazin University announces a competition for students to study at the University of Warsaw (Poland) in the spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

🎓 Students of all bachelor's and master's programs can participate.

💶 Financial conditions:
• 309 euros — reimbursement of travel expenses;
• 800 euros/month — scholarship;
• 250 euros/month — additional financial support for persons with disabilities.

🌐 Language requirements

The level of proficiency in Polish or English must be at least B2.

English language proficiency can be confirmed by:

▫️ Cambridge English (FCE, CAE) — from 160 points;
▫️ TOEFL iBT (ETS, USA) — from 72 points (Special Home Edition is not accepted);
▫️ IELTS (British Council / IDP) — from 5.5 (IELTS Indicator is not accepted).

Please note, EF SET results are not accepted. Polish language proficiency can be confirmed by documents specified by the University of Warsaw:

❗ Important: the rule regarding B2 Polish/English confirmation does not apply to students who plan to study in the language they are learning. For example, if a student chooses courses in Spanish and all selected courses are taught in Spanish, it is necessary to confirm a B2 level in Spanish.

📄 To participate, you need to prepare:
• scan of the first page of the international passport;
• CV in Europass format https://europass.europa.eu/en/create-europass-cv ;
• certificate of student status;
• motivation letter in English;
• transcript of records in English;
• document confirming B2 foreign language level (in the absence of an international certificate — University of Warsaw document + EF SET https://www.efset.org/4-skill/ );
• preliminary list of selected disciplines in the prescribed form.
