From April 15 to 17, a scientific workshop was held at the University of Ulm, Germany, within the framework of the DAAD grant (Deutsch-Ukrainisches Hochschulnetzwerk 2025-2029), which our faculty, together with університетом міста Ульм won in 2025.
This workshop was dedicated to initiating scientific cooperation between our universities, exchanging experience and areas of scientific research, and establishing common scientific interests.
The workshop was held in person in a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Each day there were 6 presentations by our lecturers and German colleagues. All presentations were discussed in a lively scientific dialogue. On the last day, 4 online presentations by our lecturers, who could not attend the workshop, were also heard, but their topics aroused interest among German colleagues.

The following lecturers and postgraduate students from our faculty took part in the workshop: Prof. Serhii Favorov, Assoc. Prof. Kateryna Stepanova, Assoc. Prof. Anna Honcharuk, Acting Head of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics Dmytro Seliutin, Assoc. Prof. Olesya Zavarzina, Senior Lecturer Artem Panchenko, Assoc. Prof. Yevhen Petrov, postgraduate students Illia Ilyin and Oleh Afanasiev.
This workshop once again showed that despite all circumstances, war, and hardships, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University not only continues its scientific growth and has high indicators of scientific activity but also expands scientific cooperation with colleagues from partner universities abroad. Such a workshop will be held annually within the framework of the DAAD grant; our scientific cooperation with colleagues from the University of Ulm will expand, deepen, and include joint supervision of bachelor's and master's qualification works, joint publications, participation in conferences, etc.
